Did you know that MAHA’s and Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s attacks on processed foods are really about sending women back to the kitchen (where they belong…🫣) making healthy meals for themselves and their families with fresh and healthy ingredients? That’s according to corporate media and Conde Nash owned SELF:
cooking from scratch does not take long. I have done it most of my life and so have lots of other women. Of course, if people earn so little that they have to work 4 jobs to get by, it is impossible for women to stay home. I suggest paying the working parent double if the other stays home ! And in case of the faucis, only one gets paid - no need to make 800 000 a year.
I read from several gluten intolerant Americans who went to Europe, bought bread there, and were not gluten intolerant at all, but chemical intolerant. Bread has 4 or 5 ingredients, not 32 (and none of the 5 are unpronounceable). I laughed at myself this morning in the store, because they just rearranged it, and now I saw for the first time the aisle with corn flakes and the kind, and the one with chemical drinks and fake juices!
It's ludicrous to turn this into a feminist issue, and to then claim that using processed food somehow will make marital/home dynamics more "fair" or appropriate. No wonder many people are obese, as are their children. Apparently, it's easier to eat crap food than to put in a little effort to invest the time/money into eating healthier. The time spent dealing with all the health issues easily exceeds what would be spent in preparing real food.

I think processed food is simply one more addiction people need to kick in order to live a healthy life.
