The worst location in town, bad management and lax hiring practices lead to the demise of the Hooters location in Bryan, Texas. The Twin Peaks that opened up just down the road from them in a noticeably better location exacerbated their troubles. They had really good chicken wings, fries, grilled fish and mini desserts.

I'm betting that Hooters location might have been a corporate aka private equity owned one and not one owned/managed by the original investors/founders... of course, if site selection was bad to begin with, then bad mgmt would make it worse...

I thought Hooters was always kinda mean't to be classy and fun/entertaining - they may have moved away from the classy part allowing tattoos, uniform modification etc... Its not like a sleezy strip club with pole dancers and lap dances...
