Makes me feel a little less bad, as a Canadian, about the tax-payer money going to CBC. It would be interesting to know a comparison, what percentage of Canadians listen to CBC (and believe it's the word-of-God) vs percentage of Americans who listen to (and believe) NPR.
What do you think is the percentage in Canada? I think Racket news or something is the only media there not indirectly funded by the government... Not many people listen to NPR...
I think (sadly) a very large percentage of Canadians still listen to and believe every word of CBC. I figured probably fewer Americans listen to NPR, so if you confirm that not many people do, that goes with what I would have guessed. On the whole, you are doing much better at not-believing-state-sponsored-propaganda than we are. I guess I just felt a little less bad, not a lot less bad :). At this point I'll take what I can get.
