Martina Navratilova's no conservative. But she acknowledges the truth on this one. She was the number one women's tennis player for most of the 80s. 9 Wimbledon singles wins. She knows that number would be zero if this were a thing in her day. She trained by playing her male coach, ranked around 500th in the world. She never took a set from him.

Other than for social fun and fitness, women's sports is a nonsense concept anyway.

If there's going to be a separate grouping for women then a separate grouping for *small Asian women* and *large black men* etc. is equally valid.

It's not a meritocracy when membership is limited.

Professional sports is all part of the bread and circuses, and I get that some people are into having their brains and time taken up with that.

To be honest, while expecting great attempts at shaming from other women (one of which I am, biologically and in every other way), I think that last one is the most genuine. How do women, who have shrilly demanded that women are equal, even equivalent to men, and that women can and should do everything a man can do, now complain when the tables are turned? Unless being intellectually honest isn’t important to one, that is. That whole, “I’m more equal than you are”, thing goes both ways, and its idiocy is now being revealed, again.
