I highly recommend the book, “Bottle of Lies: The inside story of the generic drug boom”, by investigative journalist Katherine Eban, published in 2019. It will shock you how poorly the FDA does their job of oversight of generic drug production overseas, as shown in the chart showing quality insurance inspections above. Well, after the past four years, probably not. Regardless, it is an eye-opener on many levels.

Beyond the toxic processing, cottonseed oil is already toxic because it is not considered a food crop and can be subjected to higher levels of pesticide spraying. Canola was poisonous rapeseed until it was genetically modified. What the hell is in that Apeel to make them turn into rubber and not rot like normal organic matter?? This is why I try to grow all my own produce. Jeeezz.

I restacked this. Lots of people have forgotten what food is ! Never used seed oils, always olive, natural unadulterated coconut oil, and sometimes butter. A hint - If you feed what you made to your cat and she turns away in disgust, you probably should not eat it either. Bake your own bread, don' t eat the sponges they sell as bread in the store. Thankfully the rubber coating did not yet make it here in rural GA far as I know.

Try to find a local produce provider, organic if possible.

Find a local meat provider for pasture raised and finished and see if they have lard or tallow, or the fats to render.

Shop the peripheries if you go to a grocery store - Whole Foods or Stop & Shop or local providers, if they still exist. Most of the ultra-processed garbage will be in the center aisles.
