I am curious to see if they will stop in spring, but I don't hold my breath, because next year's calendar still has it printed in there.... what would happen if no one went to vote? Is there anyone who still believe their vote counts?
Do you mean in EU? Because as it seems the whole idea is on hold. Why? Because politicians are cowards as no more time change would create real change and maybe some people would be unhappy.
US here. We voted to stop the time change, our state and 6 others voted to keep summer time, but that can only be done with approval of the national govt. It went through the first part immediately but now has been rejected. I hope our governor keeps his word and stops it with the end of winter time, as he said he would. If I am not mistaken, Alabama already quit the change. But I don't think I want to move for it LOL
yep. and one week apart, so my family calling from Europe has to specially pay attention to the time! we always call at a certain hour and every change, one week in winter and 2 or even 3 in summertime, we have to break our heads over who is behind or who jumps forward! what a clownery!
ah I should have known that! I lived in AZ for a while. And I was in Indiana, where part of the state jumps and the other does not. So our gov has no reason NOT to stop this stupidity!

It's the same if you have relatives in Arizona b/c they and parts of Indiana don't do it - you have to check the time!
