I just returned from a ski trip involving 4 flights, 2 there, 2 back. The pilots were all white, appropriately dressed, and quite competent. On one flight we were told before takeoff that the water pumps didn't work and therefore no coffee (already had a cup before the flight) and the toilets wouldn't flush, but there were plenty of wet wipes to use. (Fortunately, I had just done number 2 in the airport before boarding.) On another flight, the (unnecessary) seat belt, emergency exit, and oxygen mask instructions were given in ebonics. A first for me in 50 years of flying. One of the stewardesses was quite competent, friendly, and thin, while the other was barely able to walk down the center aisle. One more rack of ribs and she wouldn't be able to. She also had an attitude.

you just listed all the reasons why I don't fly anymore, not since the scamdemic started. Don't want to die suffocated by a face diaper, nor by a plane breaking down mid-air, nor by falling pieces. We are in a very low air traffic zone, but when I hear one, I look up and go under the large, adult trees (which hopefully will break the fall of any parts) LOL
