My husband has been saying for years that giving women the vote was our first most deadly mistake. Unfortunately I have come to agree with him on this but only because my very man brain like ability to think without involving emotions (most of the time anyway but you’ll never know *which* time 😉🤣) is singularly absent in many women. I believe if we had just left well enough alone life would be a whole lot better. Feminism has destroyed this country and is working on destroying the world. And I recognized that even back in the late 80’s in my early adulthood. I’ve always hated feminists and ruthlessly called them feminazi’s which is what they really are. Communists in feminine guise.
I remember as a kid, talking to my Dad , why do the tv commercials make fun of middle class Dads?
Anyway, a little off topic. In 2017 I swore off dating and renewed my faith in Jesus ( I’d been doing reiki and other new age junk for pain relief).
I was visiting my snowbird mom in Florida and met a guy. Went back for Christmas and never left.
Our anniversary is coming up in march. We had our honeymoon at home as lockdown started. I used to make fun of people who got married so quickly. I think God was our matchmaker .
(All the guys in upstate New York I found just wanted a drinking buddy, and I got sober years ago. )
