Except for Sunday posts, I have largely refrained from posting many Ron DeSantis memes.
DeSantis reminds me of Scott Walker - a largely good governor that got over his head when told to run for President as the latter had only one issue to run on (how he stood up to the teachers’ unions)… DeSantis did have more to run on (e.g. how he handled COVID, wokeness, etc.) BUT he probably would have been eaten alive in Washington - Just maybe not as bad as Jimmy Carter, etc. was.
Likewise, it’s hard to tell IF his standing up to Disney and wokeness was all an act (or he was told to do it…) in order to be installed as the GOP nominee… His people (or his wife…) may have told him to do that (along with his wearing of elevator boots to look taller…) so they could install themselves in the White House IF he succeeded in becoming President…:

And the fact that Trump is more or less responsible for DeSantis becoming governor by endorsing him only to have him turn around and run against him for President makes Ron deserving of the nickname: “Ron DeSanctimonious!” - a nickname that will surely stick to him IF he tries again in 2028…
